Can I get some advice?

If you need advice then contact an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) give financial advice to both individuals and businesses. They are independent because they are not tied to the products of a particular company and are hence free to consider a wider range of products.
All IFAs must be regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) which means they are bound by the terms of this authorisation and hence must provide 'suitable advice'. This means they must by law act in your best interests when giving advice. Additionally they must possess the benchmark minimum level of educational qualification called the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC).
